Grilled Romain with Creamy Sweet Mustard Dressing

Hello Everyone,

Today we made delicious Grilled Romain with Creamy Sweet Mustard Dressing, what an amazing combination of flavors in the sweet mustard dressing which really accented the grilled romaine and made it taste amazing. When we grilled the romaine lettuce, it was just the right amount of time where the leaves were a little soft and when dressed the texture was perfect. We know you will enjoy and we can’t wait for you to try.

Grilled Romain with Creamy Sweet Mustard Dressing

Print Recipe

Ingredients


– 1/2 cup chickpeas, drained and rinsed
– Date mixture (1 cup water and 6 dates)
– 2 Tbs Dijon mustard
– 2 Tbs regular mustard
– 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
– Fresh black pepper to taste

Instructions


1) Boil 1 cup water. Place 6 pitted dates in water, cover, let sit for 10 minutes. (This is your “date mixture”)

2) Stack four whole Romain leaves on top of one another, repeat

3)Place both stacks on a warm Panini press, grill for 2 to 3 minutes

4) Meanwhile place all Dressing ingredients in a bullet or blender, blend till smooth and creamy

5)Enjoy over grilled Romain
