Sometimes, you want to go a little above and beyond when it comes to your health and wellness. You've already started your WFPB journey, which is already going above the call of duty, but what if we could go a little further? I'm talking about growing your own vegetables: talk about truly whole food! And, this vegetable isn't among your typical ones. It's said to contain many health benefits such as improved mental health, cancer prevention, and alleviation of stomach ulcers. I'm of course speaking of broccoli sprouts. These little treats are something that you can not only consume, but grow in your own home! With our easy 6-day broccoli sprout recipe, you can enjoy these delicious home-grown vegetables in under a week. So, what are you waiting for, go ahead and give these a try. We love them, and we hope you will too.

Sprouting lids
Water
2 quart Mason jars
Sprouting lids
Instructions
Day 1 – place 2 Tbsp of sprouting seeds into each Mason jar, fill with water, place sprouting lids in top, and let sit until the next day.
Day 2 – pour water out of jars. Rinse each jar twice with clean water (never remove sprouting lid). After second rinse, shake jar to ensure seeds stick to sides and bottom of jar. Place jars on a sprouting stand if your sprouting lid does not have a built in stand to vent the sprouts. Place in a large bowl or on a plate (in case they drip), cover with a dark towel and let sit. Do this step once in the morning and once in the evening to ensure you rinse the seeds twice per day. Keep covered on Day 2.
Day 3 through day 5 – Rinse each jar twice with clean water (never remove sprouting lid). After second rinse, shake jar to ensure seeds stick to sides and bottom of jar. Place jars on a sprouting stand if your sprouting lid does not have a built in stand to vent the sprouts. Place in a large bowl or on a plate (in case they drip), do not cover with a towel, place jars on a window sill (or some place they can get light). Do this step once in the morning and once in the evening to ensure you rinse the seeds twice per day.
Day 6 – remove sprouts from jar, rinse well in a bowl, skim off any seeds that did not sprout. Enjoy!
